In this playful, hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own miniature paper theatre using pop-up techniques, collage, and storytelling. By cutting, folding, layering, and assembling paper, you’ll bring scenes, characters, and worlds to life, transforming flat materials into expressive, theatrical spaces.

What You’ll Learn:

– **Pop-Up & Paper Engineering Techniques**: Learn simple but effective cutting and folding techniques to create depth, movement, and surprise. You’ll experiment with layers, tabs, and folds to build your own pop-up card.

– **Collage & Storytelling**: Use stickers, coloured paper, found images, and drawing to develop characters and settings. Explore how composition, scale, and texture can tell a story within a small theatrical frame.

The process is playful, tactile, and wonderfully absorbing. As you cut, fold, and assemble, ideas begin to unfold, quite literally. Flat sheets of paper transform into lively scenes filled with character and imagination, all created by hand with simple materials.

– **Materials**: All paper, stickers, tools, and materials are provided and included in the course fee. Feel free to bring any images or papers you’d like to collage with.
