Collagraph

In this class, you’ll build printing plates using a variety of materials, creating rich, tactile surfaces that produce unique, expressive prints. Ideal for beginners and seasoned artists alike, collagraph offers endless possibilities for experimentation and artistic exploration.

Join us and discover the magic of printmaking through layers, texture, and imagination!

What You’ll Learn:

– **Designing Your Plates**: You’ll learn how to create intricate and textured plates using a variety of materials.

– **Building Layers**: Explore techniques for building up textures and layers to make your prints come alive.

– **Inking and Printing**: Master the inking process and print your designs using both hand printing and press methods.

We love the meditative aspect of making plates and the peaceful atmosphere when printing. Once you master relief and intaglio techniques, you’ll be able to continue your printmaking practice at home with just a small selection of materials. Alina will share great tips to help you keep creating outside the studio!
